Standard Template License
Effective September 10, 2026
This Standard Template License applies to every editable template, digital design asset, and downloadable file purchased from Sungy Side Up unless a product listing includes different written license terms.
The license you receive
When you purchase a product, Sungy Side Up grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use that product for one business or brand. You do not purchase ownership of the template, artwork, source files, or underlying intellectual property.
What you may do
For the licensed business, you may:
• customize the template with your own business name, logo, colors, copy, photography, product details, and other brand content;
• use the customized design for finished packaging, labels, inserts, cards, tags, stickers, signs, social posts, emails, web graphics, and other marketing materials;
• print or produce unlimited finished materials for use with products sold or promoted by the licensed business;
• send the files to a printer, manufacturer, employee, or contractor solely to edit or produce materials for the licensed business; and
• make reasonable backup copies for the licensed business.
What you may not do
You may not:
• sell, share, gift, sublicense, transfer, distribute, or give access to the editable template, source file, download link, or substantially similar derivative template;
• upload the files to a shared library, membership, marketplace, template platform, stock site, design-resource site, or other location where another person can access or extract them;
• use one purchase for more than one business, brand, storefront, or client;
• use the standard license to create work for clients, even if you customize the template for them;
• sell the design as a template, printable, digital download, clip art, graphic pack, logo, brand kit, or other editable or extractable asset;
• use an individual illustration, pattern, icon, or design element as a standalone product unless the specific product license expressly allows it;
• claim that the original template or its included design elements are exclusive to you;
• register the unmodified template or included design elements as a trademark, service mark, or copyright;
• use the files in unlawful, misleading, defamatory, hateful, or infringing content; or
• use the files to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or supply datasets for artificial-intelligence or machine-learning systems.
Employees, contractors, and production vendors
You may provide access to an employee, contractor, printer, or manufacturer only when that person needs the files to create finished materials for the licensed business. You are responsible for their compliance with this license. They may not keep, reuse, sell, or share the files for any other business or purpose.
Client and multi-business use
The standard license does not cover client work or multiple businesses. A separate purchase is required for each business or brand. Contact sarah@sungysideup.com before purchase if you need an agency, client, extended, or multi-brand license.
Third-party content
A product may use or link to third-party fonts, software, stock content, or platform elements. Those items remain subject to their owners' terms. You are responsible for obtaining any third-party account or license disclosed in the product listing. Sungy Side Up cannot grant rights that belong to a third party.
No exclusivity
Sungy Side Up may sell the same or similar templates to other customers. Customization does not make the underlying template exclusive.
Termination
This license ends automatically if you materially violate it. After termination, you must stop using the product and delete all editable and source files in your possession or control. Rights and remedies that arose before termination remain available. For questions or additional license options, email sarah@sungysideup.com before using a product in a way not clearly permitted here.
